Lleida City Council is pleased to announce the 25^th Ricard Viñes International Piano Competition, open to pianists of all nationalities between the ages from 18 to 32.

The dates will be from June 27^th to July 1^st in Lleida, Catalonia (Spain).

First eliminatory round will be online, through a video sent to all the members of the jury. A number up to 16 participants will be invited to Lleida to play in the semifinals. All semifinalists will receive a grant and the organization will offer all of them remunerated performances in the city. The three finalists will perform in our magnificent Auditorium Enric Granados, accompanied by the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès (Barcelona), and concerts in Lleida and Barcelona, as well as increased prizes will be offered to the three winners.

We hope that this serves to pay tribute to the memories of both famous musicians, Ricard Viñes and Enrique Granados, who were born in our city; and we also hope that young pianists from around the world will take our competition into account when planning their future. Lleida welcomes you!
