Lleida City Council is pleased to announce the 2nd Ricard Viñes Piano Kids and Youth, that will focus upon young hopefuls up to the age of 17. The competition will be divided into three categories (up to 11, 14 and 17) and participants will perform in our magnificent auditorium in front of an enthusiastic audience and an international jury.

In 2020, the senior version of the competition will address to contestants aged between 18 and 32, and will feature again the Symphony Orchestra of Vallés (Barcelona) to accompany the final round.

We hope that this serves to pay tribute to the memories of both famous musicians, Ricard Viñes and Enrique Granados, who were born in our city; and we also hope that young pianists from around the world will take our competition into account when planning their future. Lleida welcomes you!
